I just got back from the new Iron Man film to find that my prize from Cpnblowfish’s giveaway had arrived! Although it doesn’t show up well in the photograph, the detail in this drawing is exquisite and I love so so much, I promise to take care of him! I’m going to go to the local antiques market on Tuesday to see if I can find a suitable frame for him, before I put it up anywhere :) Thank you again!
I am glad to see that he arrived quickly and safely! I wish you much joy together. -capnb.
Pompous
Look who I found dying of lethargy in my portfolio, my very first drawing of Sherlock Holmes! He was an abandoned sketch until today and like, 1 year later, I just wanted to complete it. So here he is: Pompous.
The title is from Sherlock & John’s blogs (if you know what I mean:) and I think he seems quite pompous on the picture as well!
Painted with coffee on A3 paper and drawn with 4B mechanical pencil.
The style is also inspired by the wonderful end credits of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes.
This is my first giveaway!
- The tiny Boffin SH, 13,5 x 10,5 cm ( 5’ x 4’) drawing on coffee stained paper.
Reblog, like, do what you want. I will pick up a name randomly in the notes and will announce the winner here. Keep your ask box open so I can contact you if you win!
Follow if you want to. I ship to everyone, everywhere.
Ends april 21th. Have fun!
-Cap’n B.

Drawing done. I made him for my best friend’s birthday, she loves Jim. Maybe because she’s left-handed like him and she’s the same height (yes, we checked that.) I think she has a little of his insanity as well!
She also asked me a drawing of Jim, especially with his big black crazy-eyes, so here he is!
Jim Moriarty/Andrew Scott
4B mechanical pencil - 4B graphite pencil - A3 paper.
The title insane on the drawing, is inspired by this post.
Benedict - WIP II
Starting the tea-painting (it’s almost his natural color, isn’t it?) and the shading. I’m also testing to write something on the paper in his hands, for see if it works. I’ve chosen my favourite scene in Sherlock, the long monologue in The Hounds of Baskerville (and maybe his longest deduction?) Open the picture in a new tab for try to read it!

Drawing evolution from the beginning to now.
I lost my mind in these hairs I was delighted to draw the hands.
I think I’m going to paint it with tea again, tea suits him so well!
deviantart post is better quality.
